With the New Evolving Super-DX and Audio Digital Signal Processor
The FT-3165RASP is a compact 2-meter mobile transceiver with solid basic features configuration and mechanical toughness. The power output is 65W (selectable 65W / 30W / 5W) and its efficient cooling system with the FACC: Funnel Air-Convection Conductor (Wind Tunnel) ensures stable and reliable power.
New front speaker provides 5W of loud audio and has been tuned for improved sound quality. With the optional MLS-100 external speaker, the FT-3165RASP transceiver supports uninterrupted communication even in a noisy environment.
The Super-DX function increases the receiver sensitivity and improves weak signal reception. The new ASP: Audio Digital Signal Processing Unit is also activated when the Super-DX key is pressed. The Super-DX with the ASP ensures comfortable audio quality of weak signals and expands the communication range.
Some other convenient features of the FT-3165RASP are: Large-capacity of 220 Memory channels with Alpha-numeric 8-character labels, Keypad entry of operating frequencies from the supplied DTMF microphone, Versatile Scan features such as Preferential Memory Scan, VFO Scan, Priority Channel Scan (Dual Watch), CTCSS / DCS Encode/Decode, Separate Transmit offset Frequency Memories, RF squelch, EPCS (Enhanced Paging & Code Squelch) operation, Display Illumination Adjustment, Automatic Power-Off (APO), Time-Out Timer (TOT), Busy Channel Lock-out (BCLO), and 10 NOAA Weather Broadcast Channels with Weather Alert.
