Black Box VHF with RAM+ Microphone
The PHANTOM PS1000 is a hide-away black box VHF specifically designed for vessels with limited mounting space. It is supplied with one RAM+ microphone that controls all radio functions, including turning the radio on and off and DSC (including DSC distress) from the Nav station, cockpit, tower or lower helm station. The PS1000 also has Standard's DSC position polling feature, which allows contact with another vessel equipped with DSC, showing the other vessel’s position on the display of the RAM+. When interfaced with a Standard Horizon GPS chart plotter, the other vessel’s position is displayed on the chart page. Other great features include die-cast chassis for durability and improvement of receiver performance, user-changeable channel names, ClearVoice Noise Canceling speaker microphone, 5 W audio output, NOAA Weather Alert, programmable priority scan and dual watch.

DSC PollingThe PS1000 also has Standard's DSC position polling feature, which will allow you to contact another vessel equipped with a DSC radio that has this feature and show that vessels position on the display of the RAM+. When interfaced with a Standard Horizon GPS chart plotter their position will also show up on the display of the chart plotter.
3 Year Waterproof WarrantyBecause the PHANTOM PS1000 is built better, it's backed better. If the STANDARD HORIZON PS1000 or connected RAM+ fails for any reason (including water damage) during normal use for the first 3 years of ownership, STANDARD HORIZON will repair or replace it free, without hassles or charges. If it fails for anytime thereafter in normal use, for as long as the original purchaser owns the radio, STANDARD Horizon's Lifetime Flat Rate and Customer Loyalty Service Programs will cover it.
